Who are you?

hello everyone
i’m from canada, i’m in my late 20’s, and i picked up KoL after playing the two steam games. i enjoy the process of KoL (grinding mechanics are oddly fun for me) and that the world is so large.
i’m in academia so i will mostly play at night. be seeing you!

I come back to KoL every few years and try out some of the special challenge paths.
I never go too far into Aftercore, and haven't tried any HC ascensions.
I haven't had much experience with Clans either, so let me know if I'm being delinquent in what is expected of members.

Ireland here. 40's. I work in Industrial Automation. KoL seems fun and engaging. Learning the ropes.

Hi-hi. I started playing well over a decade ago and have occasionally taken long breaks, but it's a game I keep coming back to.
Realized that my last clan was more-or-less dead and needed an April Shower, so I went looking, and this clan seemed to be the right combination of active enough that I wouldn't basically be doing dungeons with one other person max and not so scaretimidating.
I have something of a habit of either not talking enough or talking too much, so if I'm being a bother let me know.
Here's hoping my time here'll be fun and productive!

Hi everyone! I played KoL a while back and returned to a totally defunct clan. Thank you for taking me in!

Hi all!
Im 42 and work in fashion
I've been playing KOL off and on since 2008
I just recently started to play properly again and glad to be part of an active clan

Hey I'm Kogan, I've been an on-again, off-again player since July 25, 2006...so almost 20 years. Currently a snowboarder, high school teacher, and tired old man.

Hi everyone!
I'm from Sydney, and recently got back into KoL again (been playing on and off since '09).

I'm Dan from the USA. I'm an engineer staring down middle age lol. Just discovered KoL a couple months ago and having a fun time.

Hi everyone!
I'm Polynoid, live in Canada. Pretty new player, heard about KoL first after seeing West of Loathing. I play Dungeons and Dragons some in my spare time.

Hi! I'm stinkbug (#953972). I'm an old dude living in Huntington, West Virginia. I played KoL back in the early days, and then I recently got back into it encouraging my kid (Pumpkin Pumpkin, #3582550) to play. I always thought this game offered a great introduction to economics. It turns out that they are better at making progress than I am, ascending a lot and trying out a bunch of challenge paths. I spent most of my time trying to make enough money for a tiny plastic sword (since I missed getting one from Crimbo 2004), and now that I have one of those (and Volcanometeor Showeruption) I'm not sure what my goals are.

I had a pleasant chat run-in with one of your clannies, so I figured this would be a nice place. I love the KoL community. I went to two regional meet-ups back in 2006 or so, and had wild times, but I guess those don't happen anymore.

Hit me up if you have any questions about life before AI, or if you need help with your Latin homework.

I am Disco Soup in the game. I used to play like a fiend back in the day, but life got in the way and I have been away since 2009.

Anyway, I'm back now, and I'm having a blast. I just started my latest **** run, and I'm still a little early into it so I can't do much yet, but I am going to be contributing everything I can.

I'm Gurion.  I live in Germany but grew up in America.  I played KoL a lot in 2019-2020, but mostly stopped during covid -- which sounds kinda backwards, I know, but that's how it worked out.  Anyway, I finally got around to playing the two Steam games, and that lured me back.  I'm not as knowledgable as some but feel free to ask questions if you want, I had a very successful Transdermal Smoke Patch business for a while there.
